Founded in 1996 on Khaosan Road by Mr. Taifah Chayavoraprapa and a group of friends, Buddy Group began with Buddy Beer and guesthouse businesses at a time when Khaosan Road was just emerging as a destination for global travelers.
Built on the vision and spirit of its founder, Buddy Group has focused on creating and operating spaces where people come together — to connect, unwind, celebrate, and truly live in the moment. Guests are welcomed not simply as customers, but as friends.
With a deep understanding of international travelers and a natural expression of Thai warmth, Buddy Group played a key role in shaping Khaosan Road into a vibrant lifestyle destination. Iconic venues such as Buddy Beer, Buddy Lodge, Tom Yum Kung, Brick Bar, The Club, Molly, and Mulligans, along with the pioneering Songkran celebrations, have helped place Khaosan Road on the global travel map.
